Matching the Deore XT 12-speed , Shimano offers wheels. These are perhaps not the absolute lightweights, but very robust, durable and mature, like all products in the top components of the Japanese.
The two ends of the aluminum rim are welded and sanded very clean. This creates a high degree of stability and a great look. In addition, it is of course suitable for tubeless use. The heavily butted straightpull spokes help to push the weight and provide a degree of flexibility that gives the pilot some comfort, especially on rough ground. The hub rotates on proven cone bearings with stainless steel balls. Due to the wide boost hub standard, the lateral stiffness of the wheels could be additionally increased. The MicroSpline pulley freewheel reduces the free travel enormously and immediately converts every step you take into propulsion. All 12-speed Shimano cassettes can be mounted on the freehub body.
Shimano recommends this wheel set for tires up to 2.35 "wide, which defines the intended use of intended use from cross-country to light all-mountain touring.
